Bosch, a renowned multinational engineering and technology company based in Stuttgart, Germany, unveiled plans for the new Smart Bike system. The structure consists of new applications, control unit, display, battery and transmission.
The program optimizes the controls of the vehicle, benefiting from a new buttonless Kiox 300 display combined with an innovative LED control stage to facilitate operation.
It features the introduction of the PowerTube 750 battery pack, combined with Bosch’s class-leading Performance Line CX drive unit, displaying the best of the eBike range for longer road trips.

Wireless upgrades keep the eBike always up to date and continuously improve the experience with cutting-edge features. It enables customization of riding modes, fully automatic activity logging and integration of fitness apps like Apple Health.
The eBike Flow app brings all important information together on the home screen, from connection status to the next service appointment and current battery charge status.
LED Remote Control
This device can be operated easily, conveniently and intuitively with the thumb. Using different colors, LEDs indicate the respective driving mode, which is easy to recognize while driving.
It is also practical for those who want to be on the road without a display when using the eBike: the LED Remote is sufficient to control the system and displays the most important information.
Kiox 300 Display
This feature provides a clean look of the eBike on the handlebar and is easy to read while riding. With the display, all relevant fitness data can be shown to optimize your training.
Through regular “over-the-air” updates, the Kiox 300 always stays tuned up and therefore promises a lot of fun on sporty rides.
PowerTube 750 Battery
The new rechargeable battery is ready for long and challenging trips. It offers the maximum range in the current Bosch e-bike range and is optimally designed for long distances.
Based on Lithium-ion, it can be integrated in the eBike frame and is distinguished by a particularly high energy density, with a weight of approximately 4.4 kilograms. The PowerTube 750 can be charged up to 50% in just over two hours and completely in about six hours with the 4A charger.
Connect Module
In the future, eBikers will also be able to benefit from new developments in the area of theft protection. eBikes with Connect Module can be upgraded and activate an acoustic alarm to dissuade thieves and, in case of theft, be tracked on the eBike Flow app.
Bosch expects this new technology to be on the market in December of this year.
