Through an official press release, ERA Championship confirmed the participation of drivers Ellis Spiezia and Victor Nielsen for the 2023 season of the series to be held in Europe, with the aim of continuing to promote young talent and electric single-seater racing.
Both drivers will be part of the Ellysium Racing team, which has been in the series since last season, and served as the debut of the 100% electric single-seater youth category, aboard the Mitsu-Bachi F110e car.
At 17 years old, Ellis Spiezia will return to the series after being present at the car’s first public shakedown in October 2021, ahead of his debut at the 2022 Pau Grand Prix, where he became the first driver to take pole position for an ERA Championship race.
Now, in addition to his great talent he will return with more experience to continue developing as a driver. “I believe electric is the future of performance and the future of the planet. I am prioritizing electric racing, with the goal is to reach the highest level of the sport and inspire others,” Spiezia assured.

New Objectives
Victor Nielsen will partner with Ellis Spiezia in ERA Championship, who connected with Ellysium Racing through competitive electric karting. There, they realized they shared the same vision of a sustainable future for motorsport.
Thus, having Nielsen’s talent, desire and inspiration on the team will propel the team forward in relation to its goals on and off the track. “I love motorsport and I aim to make it more sustainable. Therefore, I am delighted to join the ERA Championship, as it is a step in the right direction towards sustainable racing,” said Nielsen.
Thus, both drivers join Yashish Manohar (winner of the Next Gen Racer competition) and Emilie Villa (winner of the first ERA Racing Pride scholarship) as the four confirmed drivers for the ERA Championship Series Europe 2023.
