E1 Series is the world’s only competition of racing boats powered exclusively by electric energy, which is very close to holding its second race of the inaugural season.
The chosen location will be Venice, where the most extroverted boats in the world will meet on May 11 and 12 on the island of the San Clemente Palace Kempinski Hotel, ready to add a touch of glamour and celebrity to the city.
Thus, this race aims to highlight how the advancement of clean technologies in the elite sporting arena can significantly influence the city’s maritime transportation as it faces its well-documented environmental challenges.

E1 Series Returns to Venice
Prior to its official debut, Venice hosted RaceBird in the testing phase for a high-calibre exhibition that set the tone for what the competition is all about today. Now, the famous Italian city will once again witness the power of these boats, with the difference that it will be an official Grand Prix.
“We are delighted to bring the Championship to the city of Venice, famous for its nautical heritage. The stories created and the competitiveness of racing in Jeddah have given us the wind at our back and we are looking forward to showcasing the spectacular city of Venice and the upcoming E1 Series Grand Prix,” said Rodi Basso, CEO and Co-Founder of the category.
Team Brady vs Team Miami
In the Venetian waters, Team Brady, victorious in Jeddah, will be welcomed as they look to extend their lead over the rest of the fleet. On the other hand, Team Miami will also mark its presence in the city, eager to secure a podium place in the final race after posting the fastest lap in Jeddah.
Finally, Team Rafa will be looking to redeem itself and improve on its third-place finish, after regretting a miscalculation on the route that cost them first place in the Jeddah Grand Prix, the race that kicked off the series’ debut season.
