Formula E and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) have finally confirmed the remainder of the series’ seventh season schedule, which has ruled out rounds in Chile entirely and features races in London and Mexico.
The 2021 calendar plans to host a record 15 races thanks to the latest addition of four double races.
The least known track is that of Puebla, Mexico, which had the 100% electric single-seater competition for the first time from June 19 to 20, after the unavailability of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez (usual venue), which is currently listed like a temporary hospital.
The schedule continues with a visit to the Red Hook area of New York from July 10 to 11, while London will return to the racing calendar in July 24 to 25 at the ExCeL Center in the Docklands of the English capital.
It is important to mention that the ExCeL Center, converted into Nightingale Hospital during the waves of COVID-19, is configured to use a circuit configuration that will have 20 corners in 1.5 miles (about 2.5 kilometers) will include an interior section.

The 2021 season will end with two races at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport, which hosted the conclusion of six races of the 2019-20 campaign after the five-month hiatus caused by the pandemic.
“The calendar includes the most races we’ve held in one season and shows our continued commitment to create a momentum-building schedule that fans and audiences across the world will follow. Four double-header events in Puebla, New York City, London and Berlin are going to set the scene perfectly to crown Formula E’s first official FIA World Champion,” said Alberto Longo, Formula E’s CEO and Co-Founder.
This final update to the calendar confirms the cancellation of the Marrakech E-Prix on May 22 and the visit from June 5 to 6 to Santiago de Chile.
Notably, Chile continues to ban travel from the UK government’s ‘red list’, which means that teams returning from the South American country would have to be quarantined in an administration-approved hotel for 10 days after her return.
The scheduled races in Santiago, Sanya, and Seoul will be rescheduled for Season 8 and are expected to be attended by fans.
