The electric SUV series, Extreme E announced Enel X as its official smart charging partner. The innovative line of business of the multinational energy group Enel will provide charging technology, JuicePump 40 Race Edition, to power the ODYSSEY 21s of the championship.
Alejandro Agag, Founder and CEO of Extreme E said about the alliance that the electric series and Enel X have a common goal that goes hand in hand with the use of electric vehicles and that this goal requires innovative solutions that guarantee the charging of vehicles zero emissions.
“I’m delighted we will be using their expertise at our X Prixs as Extreme E’s Official Smart Charging Partner, further demonstrating how the world of electrification is moving forward – a move we must all support if we are to reduce global carbon emissions and protect our planet,” added Agag.
In this sense, Francesco Venturini, CEO of Enel X highlighted that the company demonstrates its commitment to electric mobility as a result of the association with Extreme E. He also considered that the electric series with extreme characteristics is ideal to demonstrate the advances in technology.
