Drone Racing League and Draganfly to Partner after Agreeing Multi-Year Contract

The Drone Racing League (DRL) and Draganfly announced a multi-year partnership to launch DRL Labs, a center for innovation, research and development of next-generation drone technologies intended to promote the sport and foster the industry’s culture.

DRL has been on the sustainable motorsport market for some time now, surprising with its approach to the future. Undoubtedly, the category is committed to promoting the use of aerial vehicles, knowing that they will soon be present on the daily routine of many countries. Now, the union with Draganfly will allow showing with greater visibility this totally technological and futuristic sector of mobility.

Among the work that will be developed as a result of this nexus is the solution of autonomous techniques for vehicles, artificial intelligence and advanced proximity sensors, with the objective of contributing with discoveries to the relief, transportation and delivery spaces, with DRL being the perfect platform to experiment.

In addition, it has been announced that the league will incorporate Draganfly’s Vital Intelligence platform, responsible for employing any camera in order to monitor the heart and respiratory rate of the pilots participating in the championship, implementing new health solutions. In addition, it will have the ability to analyze reactions, as well as speeds reached by drones, crashes and so on.
