E1 Series continues to take shape to debut in style with more and more companies who trust the project. Such is the case of Navico, a company specialized in marine electronics that will act as a partner in the first 100% electric boat category. The announcement was made during the RaceBird presentation ceremony.

Alejandro Agag and Rodi Basso want to bring “a part of Formula E” to the oceans, and as they stated at the time, after competitions such as the recently mentioned and Extreme E, it is now time to electrify the water promoting sustainability and providing a proper balance to the ecosystems of the seas.

There, Navico will play a key role as a partner of E1 Series through their two brands, Simrad Electronics and C-MAP. The former will be in charge of the entire electronics side of the business, while the latter will be at the helm of cartography, supporting and enhancing the in-cabin systems at the upcoming world championships.
