Nyck de Vries topped the times in the race, after a first simulation for the full 22-car grid at the Formula E preseason tests. The third day in Madrid, at the Jarama Circuit, saw two more three-hour test sessions, plus a race simulator in the afternoon.

David Beckmann drove his new Porsche-powered Kiro to the top of the timing screens with the fastest lap so far in the GEN3 Evo era, while the two factory Porsche cars followed closely behind.

Practice, with that new all-wheel drive, began before the 22 drivers took to the track in the Spanish capital with Pascal Wehrlein leading the action.

Nick’s Impact

In the afternoon race, the times did not reach the morning highs. Mahindra Racing’s Nyck de Vries topped the standings ahead of Jaguar’s Mitch Evans, with teammate Edo Mortara scoring an encouraging double win.

The tests continue this week, taking into account that there will also be female participation, highlighting the inclusive nature of the electric single-seater series.

It should be noted that the Jarama circuit, Madrid, was activated at the last minute by Formula E, due to the floods that occurred at the end of October in Valencia, the official testing venue of the competition since its foundation.
