Following the conclusion of Formula E’s tenth season this summer, the all-electric championship has achieved record growth across all of its digital platforms.
According to figures released by the electric series, Formula E’s global cumulative television audience has increased by 35% to 491 million worldwide, with the Monaco race achieving the largest audience in Formula E history at 40 million.
The series also saw an increase in its global fan base to an average of 374 million for the season, an increase of 23% over the previous season.

Formula E notes that thanks to a focus on increasingly engaging social media content featuring drivers, teams, partners and special guests of the series, total followers on Formula E social media during the 16-race calendar grew by 20%, generating more than one billion impressions across all social channels.
In Numbers
Formula E detailed a 23% growth in fans worldwide, going from an average of 304 million in season 9 to 374 million in season 10, peaking at 386 million at the start of the season, materially closing the gap with F1 and Moto GP and maintaining its position as the fastest growing motorsport on the planet.
Formula E now has 118 million Chinese; 27 million Indonesians; and 11 million Brazilian fans respectively.
It also recorded 35% growth in television viewership, an increase from 105 million to 491 million cumulative viewers worldwide.
The United States, Japan, Mexico and Spain each recorded the highest audience ever for a single Formula E program.
Monaco recorded the highest-ever audience for a race with 40 million.
