The newly appointed ABT CUPRA XE team pilot of the nascent Extreme E, Jutta Kleinschmidt will have her own film with the production of Steven Spielberg. Her victory in the 2001 edition of the Dakar (the only woman to achieve it) places the German as a true reference for new generations.

Her long sporting career and her work as a female reference in the world of motorsports will be taken to the cinema, being produced by Amblin Partners. According to information from Gazzetta dello Sport Jutta will participate in some of the driving scenes.

It should be noted that after the recent agreement between Steven Spielberg’s production company with Netflix, there are possibilities that the Kleinschmidt film could be destined for this platform.

In addition to contributing in the first season of the Extreme E, a category in which she debuted in the Ocean X-Prix, Jutta is the current president of the Cross-Country Commission and her contribution to the launch of the long-awaited Championship of the FIA World of Cross-Country Rallies has been capitalized.

However, Kleinschmidt’s career goes far beyond having conquered Dakar at the beginning of this millennium. It should be remembered that the edition in which Jutta wins was marked by controversy and was the last to follow and respect the traditional route between Paris and Dakar.

Kleinschmidt has had many other adventures in the Dakar that deserve a film both as a fan, a pilot and in recent times as part of projects in which she has made use of her extensive technical training.
