Drone Racing Racing League (DRL) continues to expand and establish strategic alliances for the category’s growth. On this occasion, it reached an agreement with Nacon Gaming, a gaming products manufacturer under RIG and Nacon brands. Thus, they have become the official suppliers of headsets and controllers for the competition.

Their alliance is effective from this season (2021-2022). Nacon Gaming will offer RIG Commander Pro headsets as high-quality audio solutions so that DRL competitors can be fully and effectively immersed in their work.

Having a good audio system will prove vital to win or lose a race, as the perception of the environment becomes a determining factor that can play for or against. “…On the 10-year anniversary of the launch and as the first stadium-class audio solution for eSports, the RIG Commander PRO will be used in the DRL, the next evolution of eSports, combining live event competition with SIM virtual racing,” said Gregory Morquin, Global Business Director at Nacon.

Throughout the campaign, commercial breaks and broadcast promotions, the gaming public will be shown how to enhance their gaming skills and immersive experience using Nacon Gaming’s official products, which will receive further exposure thanks to their appearance at the Drone Racing League.

“DRL pilots are at the top of our sport and require best-in-class equipment for our competitions. Flying with Nacon’s professional eSports headsets will keep our elite drone pilots connected during the eSports portion of our season,” said Ari Mark, Senior Vice President of DRL.
