In just two months, the arrival of the E1 Series in Spain will be celebrated thanks to the Puerto Banús GP in Marbella, scheduled for June 1-2, an event that will turn the place into a marina ready to develop a high-speed scenario.
RaceBirds will take to the skies in one of Spain’s most glamorous destinations, offering an experience of speed, luxury, sophistication and sustainability, the latter being the most important pillar of the 100% electric boat racing category.
With Marc Anthony as the face of the race, the series is set to arrive with all the equipment owned by several world-class figures, including the 55-year-old singer, Rafael Nadal, Didier Drogba, Sergio “Checo” Perez, Steve Aoki, Virat Kohli and Tom Brady.

E1 Series in Depth
Each of the E1 Series events are held in coastal locations, giving fans and spectators the opportunity to easily witness all the action from the mainland, spread over two intense days that will include practice sessions, qualifying races and qualifying heats.
Riders will go head to head in a series of heats, tenaciously competing to secure a place in the next stage, where the fastest will advance to the eagerly awaited final, ready to define the overall winner through an epic scenario full of adrenaline and intense emotions.
About the series, it is the world’s first and only electric powerboat racing competition. The category was established to create an exciting and competitive racing platform to promote sustainable powerboats and reduce environmental pressures on the ocean, rivers and lakes.
