Renault Group and its subsidiary The Future is Neutral presented their progress in circular economy and electric mobility with initiatives for remanufacturing parts linked to different models of electric vehicles.

From the two initiatives, which are born under the Renault umbrella, customers with electric vehicles can now choose between three new original parts and a range of quality reconditioned products, more affordable.

These parts, which can be up to 30% cheaper, according to the companies, contribute to limiting the impact on resources and carbon emissions.

This plan, along with other circular economy developments from its subsidiary The Future Is Neutral, launched in 2022, is being showcased at the ChangeNow 2024 sustainability summit held the last week of March in Paris.

Renault stresses that to support the democratization and expansion of its 100% electric range, this service will be offered in the aftermarket with the electric motor overhaul of the ZOE, Twingo E-Tech, Kangoo E-Tech and Master E-Tech models.

In addition, Renault covers the overhaul of the power electronics of the ZOE and Kangoo E-Tech models, and of the traction battery of the ZOE, Twingo E-Tech and Megane E-Tech.

The goal is that by 2024, The Future Is Neutral will have the capacity to produce more than 3,000 reconditioned parts for electric vehicles at the French factory in Flins, dedicated to electric vehicles.

Renault indicates that it is deploying this type of circular economy proposition that is structured around four complementary areas, ranging from parts and products to the transformation of skills.

The Renault Group describes its strategy as pioneering in Europe, deploying an industrial and collaborative ecosystem of circular economy solutions from Flins to Bursa (Turkey), via Seville (Spain).
