In the opening round of the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup 2024, Honda Racing Corporation took the win in its home country of Japan, showing its dominance in electric off-road racing while making its debut in the competition.
Joining the all-electric off-road motorcycle series, Team HRC joined the competition by taking on top rivals, some of whom have a full year of experience in the inaugural 2023 championship.
Despite the competition from Team HRC’s rivals, victory in Round 1 was secured by the factory team with a razor-thin margin of just one point, accumulating a total of 132 in the championship.
