Motor and speed enthusiasts know that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the best events worldwide, showcasing great models from different manufacturers. However, for several editions now, it has stood out for the new space introduced in favor of electric mobility and environmental preservation.
An example of this was in 2021 when they unveiled the “Electric Avenue – The Road To 2030” station, as one of the UK’s major objectives for that year is to eradicate 100% of sales of gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles.
Thus, this space was born for all those interested in firsthand knowledge, with experts in the field, about “green mobility”. Remember that this takes place in July each year, standing out for this new segment dedicated to electric speed.

Electric Avenue – The Road To 2030
The Goodwood Festival of Speed managed to captivate attendees in that edition by showcasing a series of vehicles with great performance as well as a good aesthetic image, including highlights such as utility vehicles, compacts, sedans, SUVs, sports cars, and hypercars, placing its section between the Future Lab presented by bp and the First Glance Paddock.
Electric models from renowned manufacturers such as Rimac, Tesla, Fiat, Ford, Citroën, Audi, and Kia made waves by revealing all the features, specifications, and advantages of opting for an electrified car.
In fact, the Duke of Richmond was completely pleased with the inclusion of a green ecosystem at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, asserting that they are getting closer to making history in terms of the future of mobility, given the partnership they formed with Sky Zero to make “Electric Avenue” a reality.
As a result, in each edition following the 2021 one, a reserved space has been implemented to showcase the best of electric vehicles, knowing that within a few years the UK will be fully committed to this type of sustainable mobility.
Finally, the next edition is scheduled to take place between July 11th and 14th of this year, where once again brands will exhibit the electric models that make them stand out in the automotive market that is moving towards sustainable mobility.
