A new season of the WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup 2023 is about to begin, where the world’s best riders will gather in two new venues to fight for absolute glory. Italy and Germany will be two new destinations that will test the skills of the participants.
From July 15-16, the Lombardy region opens its doors to host another round of the series, which will serve as an additional test before the UCI World Championships, joining Bologna as the competition’s destination in Italy.
Then, Germany makes its debut as host of the series in a race that will be a challenge for everyone, being a completely new circuit. From September 2-3, Bielstein will host the fifth round, just three days after the race at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit (August 29-30), which is just a two-hour drive from the new German venue.
Undoubtedly, an exciting back-to-back race between a brand-new venue with high expectations and a historic and established track. Thus adding two new adventures to the series, expanding the frontiers of WES in Europe and spreading its message of sustainable competition, environmental care, gender equality and conditions.

About WES
WES World E-Bike Series was born in 2019 in Monaco, to organize and promote the first international competition of exclusively electric bicycles. By 2020, the category took the step to the next level by receiving the title of the first and sole UCI E-Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup.
WES aims to go beyond the sport, to offer the cycling industry an exciting new sustainable-mobility format. WES promotes E-MTB as a fun and challenging choice for athletes and amateurs, and mountain bike tourism as a driver for hosting venues’ visibility.
