Kevin Hansen and Molly Taylor once again led the ACCIONA | SAINZ XE Team (ASXE), maintaining a slight advantage to consolidate their lead in the Extreme E championship in Dumfries and Galloway. Andretti Altawkilat completed the podium by taking third place.
Rosberg X Racing (RXR) finished in fourth place in the Grand Final due to a puncture that hindered their progress. Meanwhile, the NEOM McLaren Extreme E team triumphed in the Redemption Race, beating LEGACY MOTOR CLUB IN ASSOCIATION WITH JIMMIE JOHNSON.
As a result, E.ON Next Veloce Racing tops the Extreme E championship standings with 87 points, holding a nine-point lead over their closest competitor, ASXE.

“Today was a battle. I think in Extreme E, especially now that the competition is so fierce, the fight to get to the Grand Final is crazy and can take any turn. Once you get to that Final, everything is in order and, with the support of our fans in GridPlay, we were able to secure a good position on the starting line,” said Molly Taylor of E.ON Next Veloce Racing.
On the other hand, Kevin Hansen of E.ON Next Veloce Racing said, “Another home victory, what more could you ask for? It is very challenging with double races because you cannot let up at any moment. Getting excited takes away your focus and today we also had to be able to perform at our best. It certainly was not an easy path to get here, but that makes this victory even more satisfying as we were able to execute such a great race in the final.”
Finally, the action will move to Sardinia, Italy, on September 14-15, a usual location in Extreme E as it has been on the calendar of the 100% electric off-road category since its debut season.
