The ERA Championship Series Europe 2023 grid is starting to take an interesting shape for the second season of the category, which seeks to promote the development of young talent aboard electric single-seaters, rescuing principles of sustainability, inclusion, gender equality and sportsmanship.
In this sense, a new driver has been confirmed as part of the upcoming campaign: 18-year-old Canadian/Polish Victor Smialek, who is fully ready to take on the challenge in his young and promising career in the 100% electric single-seater category.
This driver started his path within motorsport racing in manual karts, where he has raced there since 2019, training and making his way towards 2021, as there, he won the Canadian Open in Open Shifter.
He then made the jump to cars in 2022, gaining recognition in Lucky Dog Racing and winning the GT2 and F1600 championship, where he placed second and third in GPF1 in Pro-Am in Montreal.
In addition to that, Smialek was part of the Next Gen Racer 2022 organized by ERA Championship, generating interesting sensations during the competition to come to the conclusion of wanting to participate in the championship as a starting driver.
