In the third round of Extreme E 2023, Rosberg X Racing’s Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky and Johan Kristoffersson celebrated their second consecutive win in Sardinia, consolidating their position as the first team to do so in the new double-race format implemented from this season on.
With this victory, the team has climbed up the championship standings, overtaking Veloce Racing and closing to just four points behind the leader, ACCIONA | Sainz XE Team to elevate the performance of Nico Rosberg’s team, who remain more alive than ever in the fight for the championship.
“The level of competition is world class, so to win two races this weekend is absolutely epic. In the Final (on Saturday) we were last after the start and made an incredible comeback, (on Sunday) we were second to last but the others got tangled up and we managed to sneak through,” said Nico Rosberg, German Formula 1 Champion.
