The eSkootr Championship, an electric scooter innovative series, keep fine-tuning details for the first season. The category made a big announcement through social networks to inform about the first team of drivers, from different championships.

Skiers, Freestyle Skateboard World Champion, BMX, superbike riders, car racers and content creators will attend the big debut. Led by Formula E star Lucas Di grassi, who sponsors this tournament, other prominent drivers, such as Dakota Schuetz and Keagan Brown, tried out the electric eSkootr S1-X technology to hit the track.

Schuetz, also known as “Kota,” is an American free-style professional motorcyclist and one of the scooters’ developers. His track record includes winning three World Championships at the ISA Scooter competition.

Brown, a promising young motorcyclist, comes from the MotoAmerica Junior Cup with the Bartcon Racing team, whose commitment to the competition was secured for 2021.

The scooter has already been designed by Williams Advanced Engineering, a Formula 1 team subsidiary. The company was in charge of the chassis, the charging station and the battery. They also signed a two-year contract. The vehicle is expected to reach 100 kilometers per hour.

A Tournament with Environmental Values

The eSkootr is aimed to promote renewable energies, sustainability and more emission-free cities. Besides Di Grassi, the project includes Alex Wurz, a former Formula 1 driver, and Lebanese former A1 GP driver Khalil Beschir, a multi-country competition developed at the beginning of the 21st century.
