The inaugural season of the FIM E-Xplorer World Cup is rapidly taking shape, as the arrival of a new team has been confirmed: EM Factory Team will be part of history by participating in the debut of the 100% electric off-road motorcycle category, following official confirmation from the series.
EM (Electric Motion) has been a pioneer of electric motorcycles for more than 10 years, designing, developing, promoting and distributing models around the world. Now, it joins the E-Xplorer adventure in order to continue leaving a sustainable footprint through motorsports.
The brand’s track record brings with it great accolades, such as titles in multiple trial championship categories, to competing against the best riders and the best gasoline-powered motorcycles in the world. “From project to reality: definitely the dawn of something great for off-road motorcycling,” the team assures.

Technology Excitement
“At E-Xplorer we think about the future, we are technology enthusiasts and we change the rules of the game to leave a legacy without a trace,” with these words, Valentin Guyonnet, CEO of FIM E-Xplorer World Cup, recently expressed what the new category of electrified motorcycles is all about.
The series will make its debut in the world of zero-emission motor racing. Backed by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and personalities such as Alejandro Agag, it will have 10 teams and 20 riders compete in five global events spanning a combination of urban and natural outdoor venues.
Aiming to tap into the growing appetite for the electrification of motorsport, the category will act as a test bed for two-wheeled technology, as well as attracting the next generation of climate-conscious fans.
“Born out of anti-conformity, we will electrify adventure. Teams made up of two women and one man, relay-style racing on short technical tracks in total gender equality between iconic global venues, from downtown to remote terrain, where every shift, every jump and every second counts, making a mark without a trace,” says FIM E-Xplorer World Cup.
