Drone Racing League Breaks Audience Records and Reaches Incredible Levels

Offering an interesting proposal, mixing technology with sports during the digital era, and winning over the hearts of fans has been part of Drone Racing League’s master formula to become today a sustainable reference worldwide, reaching millions of homes around the world.

Its recent audience records prove it, as the figures offered by DRL through an official press release, show the hard work over the years, allowing to position drone racing at higher scales: 250 million households and over 250 million households and more than 140 million markets worldwide were touched by the category’s footprint.

The 2021-2022 Championship Season broke viewership records after securing 40 million views. Projections indicate that growth may continue by as much as 25% over the previous year, considering new partnerships and broadcast deals that allow all the excitement of drones to be transmitted through demanding circuits.

Drone Racing League has been able to reach fans of the digital age, sports and sustainability in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, the Caribbean, South America, Central America, Latin America. In addition, the DRL will reach Africa through an exclusive agreement with StarTimes; while Asia and the Middle East will not be left behind, as they will be broadcast by Sony TV, beIN SPORT, Eleven Sports and TrueVisions.

Digital platforms also play a key role in broadcasting the content. Twitter, ran.de, Viaplay, Star+, Weibo and Yhizibo are part of the grid of windows available to not miss a moment of the competition. In addition, it is worth noting a 20% increase in viewership through the television network, NBC.
