The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and WES Management regret to announce that the round of the 2023 UCI E-MTB Cross-country World Cup which was scheduled to take place in Charade/Clermont-Ferrand (France) on 30 September and 1st October, has been cancelled.

Despite the best efforts of the local promoter and WES, it was not possible to ensure the successful execution of this event this year. However, it is envisaged to return to Charade/Clermont Ferrand with a round of the UCI E-MTB Cross-country World Cup in the future.

The next round of the 2023 UCI E-MTB Cross-country World Cup will take place in Girona, Spain, on 22 and 23 September.

About WES

World E-Bike Series was born in 2019 in Monaco, in order to promote the first international competition of exclusively electric bicycles. In 2020, the category took the step to the next level by receiving the title of the first E-Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup.

E-Cross-Country (E-XC) is the main discipline of WES, although Events can also present E-Gravity races, urban track competitions and amateur rides with professionals, called Ride WES.
