The wait is finally over. Already lovers of electric cars and high engineering can rub their hands with the announcement of the creation of the first electric Ferrari in history.

The luxury sports car brand has hinted that it does not want to improvise with its first 100% electric car, which is why it has tried to carry out all the procedures in full.

However, given the accelerated advance of the automotive industry, Ferrari has advanced the premiere of the vehicle in question for 2025. This was announced by the CEO of the firm, John Elkann, after the annual general meeting of shareholders.

“We are continuing to execute our electrification strategy in a highly disciplined way. Our interpretation and application of these technologies both in motorsport and in road cars is a huge opportunity to bring the uniqueness and passion of Ferrari to new generations,” said Elkann.

So far it is unknow the details of the new creation. Of course, with Ferrari behind the project, expectations are very high and the nascent vehicle is expected to mark a new point in the history of electric mobility.

It is important to mention that the Maranello-based company has already given a taste of its electrical developments with the SF90 Stradale and Ferrari LaFerrari hybrids, released two and a year ago respectively.

Ferrari refines details for LeMans

After almost 50 years away from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, after Enzo Ferrari made the decision in 1973 to focus the full potential of his team on Formula 1, the firm has announced its return to the endurance test for the year 2023, and it will do so in the highest category.

“We announced our return to Le Mans in 2023, a race where so many great chapters in our motor racing history have been played out,” Elkann concluded.
