Motorcycle rider, Yonny Hernández confirmed he will race in 2021 for the MotoE category, a competition organized by the International Motorcycling Federation and Enel (Ente nazionale per l’energia elettrica). The Colombian will participate with the Pramac team.
After staying away from top-tier competitions, Hernández impressed Colombian motorcycling fans with his return to the FIM world championships.

Hernández will meet again with the Octo Pramac E team, a team which he was in MotoGP between 2013 and 2015. On this occasion, the Colombian will be aboard an electric motorcycle and his teammate will be the Italian Alessandro Zaccone.
For Hernández it will be his first competition after the Motorcycle Grand Prix in 2017. In that year he was in the World Championship of the specialty within the Moto2 category. He also participated in five seasons of the highest category, between 2012 and 2016 driving for the BQR and Ducati brands.
