Circontrol launched a 100 kW fast charger, the Raption 100, which meets the needs of new models of electric vehicles that have more powerful batteries.
This charging station doubles the power of its previous version, the Raption 50. One of the novelties of this charger is, with an average charging session of 20 minutes, the new Raption is capable of increasing the autonomy of an electric vehicle by more than 200 kilometers .
It should be noted, that its previous version, the Raption 50 (launched 3 years ago) is one of the best-selling charging stations of the Catalan company and in 2019 alone, more than a thousand units of it were sold worldwide.

“The modular technology has been preserved and the power of the charging modules increased,” said Joan Hinojo, CEO of Circontrol, explaining that the Raption 100 offers more power for new zero-emission cars, manteining the Raption 50’s design.
The company’s charging stations have been high-value in the market due to their usability, reliability and compact appearance; ideal for installation in restaurants, gas stations, shopping centers, airports and intercity areas.
Adaptability
The Raption technology allows users to carry out power loads ranging from 25 kW, 50 kW to 100 kW according to the needs of each vehicle.
Likewise, Circontrol has not only made sure that the Raption are integrated into different places, but also allows the selection of several languages for their use. The company also facilitated the equipment maintenance process.
Its 8-inch color touch screen allows consumers to receive charging instructions more clearly. In case the station is in a dark area, Raption 100 has an integrated courtesy light which helps the customer to locate the charging point.
